My thoughts:

This is a huge anthology of beautifully written stories that go much deeper than just bunnies and eggs. I do love a sweet story about new life in spring but sometimes you want to read something to your children that will speak to their growing relationship with the Lord. With 370 pages of simple illustrations and classic tales, Easter Stories is a classic that belongs on every Christian family’s bookshelf.

My favorite thing about Easter Stories is that some of the short stories are fitting for younger children and some for older. I like that they’re all different lengths – because we all know children’s attention spans can change from day to day! And most of all – they are beautifully written stories. No foolishness, no dumbed down literature. These stories would fit perfectly into a family Lent tradition or just a weekly reading.

And just in time for Easter, I have a copy to give away! To enter, leave a comment telling me your favorite Easter tradition. The winner will win their own paperback copy of Easter Stories. The giveaway will end on March 13 at 8pm. Winner will be notified by email so please leave a current email address.
